It seems as if you switch directories before it is able to generate the thumbnails, the program will quit. It seems to be stable as long as you wait for the thumbnails. I'm using build 3019 and windows XP.
This program seems to be the best program out there! Keep up the good work.

Does it always quit at the same directory, or does it just quit when you try to switch different directories? Maybe it quits when you switch from directory to another one and PictureRipper is downloading at the same time?
I had this problem before on my development box, and it seems problem was caused by 0 bytes images and that is why now PictureRipper just ignores them since the latest build release.

Thanks for good words, they keep me inspired!
It quits at different directories.
When I re-open PictureRipper, I can go back to the same directory everything is fine.
It's only when I quickly poke around different directories.
At first I thought it was happening while downloading images. But it seems to happen even when you are not downloading.
I don't think it happens on 0 byte diectories.
I'm running on a celeron 400, 256Mb of RAM. On a fairly clean install of XP, I also Have Office XP installed, Front Page, Visio, and PhotoImpact 8. My system seems to be very stable.
I hope this helps you narrow it down.
Well, very strange. I have been clicking different folders with images and movies for almost an hour and it never crashed... Are you sure you have the latest build? Check in Help->About... you should see (3019) ..
OK I'm able to successfullly reproduce the problem.
Is there a way I could send you some files?
Great, please send me anything you think might help to
Thanks in advance!
Ok, I have reporoduced the same behaviour as you reported.
Please, make sure you have option "Make Thumbs for Movies" set to ON (a checkbox).. to do so Press F12 and select "Misc.". I will post updated version ASAP.
Sorry for the troubles,
Thank you for the bug report.
