Auto titler - use gallery counter default

Thanks for the fast reply on my last question, here is another.

On the latest version, when I select a new project. PR automatically seems to grab info from the currents webpage I have open on the browser.

Even though I switch the "chooser" to "unique gallery name", the title in the project name box still has the galler counter as the default...

Am I doing something wrong?

Yes, if you copied an url to clipboard in order to paste it into PictureRipper, then PictureRipper reads contents of clipboard and paste it for you.. ;-)

OK
I am assuming that when I put a URL in my clip board and paste it to the PR it automatically takes the URL and creates a Project name in #3 whether or not the box is ticked for use auto titler is ticked.

There seem to be automatic defaults when moving a project in from the clipboard.

The default Gallery Folder Name #8 for a URL brought in from the clip board is Use current date. IF you change it to use unique folder name, I was assuming that the project title name would change in the widow #3 to reflect that Unique name.

What I see happening is that a folder is created with the project name and a "unique" named folder for the project is created in the Project name folder.... RIGHT.

I thought the Project Name might change in #3 if you change the gallery folder name in #8

The problem is if you are downloading pics from three locations on same site such as

http//yaddayaddayadda/tits1
http//yaddayaddayadda/tits2
http//yaddayaddayadda/tits3

you get the project folder
http//yaddayaddayadda
with subfolders
cwdw782340502985234
df42450978d0f98w
234q5adfwdfsdgadgf234

with no way to know that
http//yaddayaddayadda/tits2 = df42450978d0f98w by looking in the edit project items folder...

Right?

Could there be a window that shows you what folder name would be created #4 as you select the different options form #3?

Just asking

yes, if you create new project, the "Auto Title" is turned ON by default. In next 3.1 beta I will implement a feature that will allow you to save default setting for projects.

yes, you're right, it is automatic by default

No, these items are not linked. The project title is needed to help you to identify a certain project among bunch of other projects.

yes, but the purpose of unique galllery name is to make sure that no images overwrite each other if you run the same project in one day.
